With numerous locations and a depth range of 5 to 20 meters, guided shore diving is a safe alternative to the more traditional boat diving.
Avoid the crowded decks and getting seasick. Avoid the expense and early
departure times. Don't leave the family on the wharf; bring them to the beach
instead. By eliminating the added pressures that can be associated with boat
diving, divers can enjoy a personal tour of this rich and diverse shore line
while exploring a variety of different locations.
The temperate waters of Jervis Bay are home to many threatened and protected
species, such as the Eastern Blue Devil fish, the Weedy Seadragon, the Red
Indian Fish and the Grey Nurse Shark. These and other species can be found
among the shallow rocky reefs and other shore sites. Local knowledge and
experience of these areas can help to locate these rare animals.
All dives are led by an experienced PADI Divemaster or Instructor, making
this the perfect opportunity for new or less experienced divers to practice
and gain confidence in their diving skills. Being personal tours, we can
cater your booking to suit your needs and we will take the time to ensure
that your dive is a safe, helpful and friendly experience. Our guided dives
are available for single divers, dive buddies and groups of all experience
levels. If you’ve never Scuba dived before, you can try it now, with
the PADI Discover Scuba Dive program. Even confident, experienced divers
can value from our knowledge to discover the local dive sites for future
exploration.
Our knowledge of the Marine Park extends beyond the shallow reefs to the
many dive sites both inside and outside the bay. Being qualified and experienced
boat crew, our guides are available to accompany you on your own boat or
alternate boat diving can be arranged if required. Special conditions do
apply and you must book in advance. Contact Sue at Crest Diving for more
information on how to discover Jervis Bay by boat.
