Shore Diving Jervis Bay

The perfect way to discover what makes diving in Jervis Bay so special.

Crest Diving is the only dive operator in Jervis Bay to offer guided shore dives.

Jervis Bay has several suitable shore sites to choose from.  Each dive site varies with their own unique features and challenges.  Most shore dives have a maximum depth range of 7m - 9m with only 2 sites that extend beyond 20m.  Jervis Bay shore dives are suitable for all levels of experience. Throughout any Jervis Bay shore dive, you will encounter a huge variety of temperate water marine life which provides the perfect opportunity for underwater photographers to find that special critter as well as a few other surprises along the way.

The majority of Jervis Bay shore dives have easy entries and exits straight off the beach.  No need to take long walks or rock-hop wearing heavy scuba gear and no long surface swims either.  Simply enter the water until waist deep.  Don your mask, snorkel and fins.  Take a bearing and down you go.  Don't forget to take a dive flag to alert possible boat traffic of your presence.

Vehicle access varies depending on the dive site location and from time to time, sites located within the Beecroft Weapons Range and Wreck Bay may be closed to the public.  Parking is widely available with security being an issue only at Summercloud Bay although,  it is recommended that any valuables be hidden out of sight and vehicles locked at all times, at all sites.

Details regarding individual Jervis Bay shore dives will be available soon.  Until then, please contact Sue Newson for more information.
